As they move away from the "headphone generation" many couples are re-discovering that listening to music out loud together is really a major plus for their relationship. In earlier days, when radio was more widespread, whole families would listen together. Now couples are finding that they are actually bonding together in a new and indeed in a more romantic way.
There is of course neuroscience to add data to this effect. Music affects three main regions of the brain — the reward or pleasure system, the social bonding system, and the system which that promotes emotions. When we listen to music out loud, our brain starts releasing a cocktail of hormones at the same rhythm as our partner. Pleasure is amplified by the music and also there is a deeper connection and tighter bonding with your partner.
IN A RECENT SURVEY, NEARLY 70% OF COUPLES THAT LISTEN TO MUSIC OUT LOUD TOGETHER REPORT HAVING MORE SEX THAN COUPLES WHO DON'T LISTEN TO MUSIC TOGETHER.
Of course, it doesn't help to listen to small weak loudspeakers. Depth in a relationship needs good deep and rich sound.
